We are UKCA Compliant!
With the launch of AQUIKO, in 2020 Aquatic Control Engineering joined the CE Marking Association to understand Aquatic Control Engineering’s requirements of the CE Marking Directives to apply to our products.
We are pleased to say we have completed the CE marking training workshops and consultancy sessions, with support from the CE Association’s technical department, to ensure the correct requirements and standards are met. The UK Conformity Assessed marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain. We are now working with the UKCA regulations, to ensure the UKCA mark is affixed to our products, where applicable.
AQUIKO products, where applicable, follow the required processes as standard practice such as review, inspection and testing, throughout the design and production stages, and ensure responsibility of compiling the technical file is achieved. We have completed type testing of our products within our own warehouse facility, where additional pressure has been applied to confirm leakage rates and determine potential limitations to the design for R&D purposes. In most cases, UKCA is applied to ACE products under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 1992.
Aquatic Control Engineering are highly accredited to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 Health and Safety and ISO 14001 Environmental systems in place, which include the HSEQ Design Management procedures and technical capabilities required of our products, to ensure health and safety and environmental factors are reviewed and controlled in a variety of environments with risk assessments provided.
ACE are proud to achieve this status and all UK Declaration’s of Conformity are readily available to our customers for their products.
